Expert says BRICS water loan should be directed to more affected areas

JOHANNESBURG – Water expert, Mike Muller says the BRICS loan should be used for maintenance, infrastructure and leaks.
BRICS through its New Development Bank approved a 1-billion-US dollar loan to address the water crisis.

The money will be distributed in line with the Municipal Infrastructure Grant.
Muller says priority should be given to the most-affected areas.
